Palletization Standard — Effective Date: January 1, 2024

Purpose
This document defines the official manufacturer shipping and palletization specifications for Inspired Overland rooftop tents.

The specifications below reflect how all rooftop tents are packaged and shipped from Inspired Overland warehouses and may be provided to freight carriers as the authoritative reference for pallet dimensions and shipment configuration.

Palletization Standard
All Inspired Overland rooftop tents are shipped fully collapsed and palletized on custom-built pallets with fixed exterior dimensions of:

93 inches (Length) × 56 inches (Width) × 5 inches (Height)

This palletization standard has been in effect since January 1, 2024 and is the only configuration used for all rooftop tent shipments to customers, retailers, distributors, or partners.

These pallet dimensions are consistent across all rooftop tent models. Inspired Overland does not ship rooftop tents on pallets exceeding 93 inches in length under any circumstances.

Measurement Reference Standard
All pallet dimensions are measured from the outermost rigid wooden edges of the pallet base only.
Protective packaging materials including but not limited to:

• Stretch wrap
  
• Shrink wrap
  
• Strapping
  
• Corner protectors
  
• Protective foam or padding
  

are not considered part of the pallet dimensions and must not be used when determining shipment length, width, or height.

Product Shipping Specifications
The table below outlines the packaged product dimensions, palletized shipping dimensions, and freight specifications for Inspired Overland rooftop tents and related products.

Packaged Dimensions represent the product packaging prior to palletization.
Palletized Shipping Dimensions represent the complete freight unit including the pallet and packaged product.
Packaged Weight represents the weight of the packaged product including the product, box, and internal packaging materials.
Palletized Shipping Weight represents the total weight of the freight unit including packaged product, pallet, and included accessories where applicable.

Freight Unit Definition
Palletized shipping dimensions and palletized shipping weight represent the complete freight unit including pallet, packaged product, and included accessories where applicable.

All Inspired Overland rooftop tent shipments utilize a fixed pallet footprint of 93″ × 56″.

Freight Classification
Inspired Overland rooftop tents are classified under NMFC Item 182130.

NMFC Description:
Tents or Canopies, or Parts thereof, NOI.

Freight classes listed in the table above are based on palletized shipment density in accordance with NMFC density classification guidelines.
