Inspired Overland Return Policy
This page outlines our return windows, refund process, and cancellation terms. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Return Windows
Inspired Overland accepts returns within the following timeframes from the original purchase date:
- Rooftop Tents: 15 days from the original purchase date.
- Outdoor Gear / Camp Essentials: 30 days from the original purchase date.
Return requests submitted outside of these windows will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, all items must meet ALL of the following conditions:
- Item must be in original, unused, and uninstalled condition.
- All original packaging, hardware, and accessories must be included and undamaged.
- Item must not have been modified, altered, or repaired in any way.
- A valid proof of purchase must be provided.
Inspired Overland reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions or to issue a partial refund if the item is returned incomplete, damaged, or in a condition inconsistent with the above requirements.
3. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including freight charges for rooftop tents.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Inspired Overland is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method.
4. Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of purchase at no charge.
- If your order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled and must instead go through the standard return process. A 20% restocking fee will apply, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Refunds
- Once a return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
- If the returned item is incomplete, damaged, or does not meet return eligibility requirements, Inspired Overland reserves the right to issue a partial refund or decline the return entirely.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable in all cases.
6. Exchanges
Inspired Overland does not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please initiate a return for the original item (subject to the return policy above) and place a new order.
7. Sale & Clearance Items
Items purchased on sale or marked as clearance are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund unless the item arrives damaged or defective, in which case the warranty policy applies.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or you believe it has a manufacturing defect, please do not initiate a standard return. Instead, refer to our Warranty Policy for the appropriate process. Warranty claims are handled separately from standard returns.
9. How to Request a Return
To request a return, contact us directly at support@inspiredoverland.com with your order number, photos and reason for return.
Return requests are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing by Inspired Overland. Do not ship any item back before receiving written authorization.
