Inspired Overland Warranty Policy
This page outlines our warranty coverage, claim requirements, and replacement procedures. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2-Year Limited Warranty Policy
Effective for all products purchased from Inspired Overland or an authorized dealer.
Inspired Overland, LLC reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
1. Warranty Coverage
Inspired Overland, LLC provides the original purchaser with a 2-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on products manufactured by Inspired Overland.
The 2-year warranty period begins on the original purchase date shown on the customer's valid proof of purchase.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
All warranty claims are subject to verification of eligibility, the condition of the product, supporting documentation, purchase records, product identifiers, inspection or testing when applicable, and compliance with the procedures stated in this policy.
Inspired Overland will evaluate warranty claims to determine whether the alleged condition qualifies as a defect in materials or workmanship covered by this Limited Warranty.
For an approved warranty claim, Inspired Overland may, at its discretion:
• Repair the covered product or component
• Provide replacement parts or components
• Replace the covered product
Warranty replacements are strictly one-for-one and are intended solely to remedy a covered defective product or component, not to provide the customer with additional usable units.
When a full replacement product or major component is issued, Inspired Overland may require the defective product or component to be returned, surrendered, destroyed, or otherwise rendered unusable before the replacement is released.
Customers may not retain a usable defective product or component for which a full warranty replacement has been issued unless expressly authorized by Inspired Overland in writing.
Warranty coverage is limited to one (1) full product replacement per original product purchase. If an additional covered issue occurs during the remaining original warranty period after a full replacement has already been issued, Inspired Overland may address the claim through repair, replacement parts or components, or another available warranty remedy.
A warranty repair, replacement part, component replacement, or full product replacement does not restart or extend the original 2-year warranty period. Warranty coverage remains based on the original purchase date.
Customers are responsible for all shipping and freight costs associated with warranty service and replacement, subject to the Mandatory Legal Rights section of this Limited Warranty.
Customers are responsible for removal, reinstallation, transportation, and labor costs associated with warranty service.
Approval of a warranty claim does not entitle the customer to a refund, cash reimbursement, upgraded product, different model, additional merchandise, or any remedy other than the warranty remedy authorized by Inspired Overland.
Warranty claims are separate from requests for a monetary return or refund. Customers seeking a monetary return or refund must follow the applicable provisions of the Inspired Overland Return Policy.
2. Claim Filing Requirements
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must meet ALL of the following requirements:
• Submit the warranty claim within the original 2-year warranty period and within 30 calendar days of discovering the alleged defect.
• Provide valid proof of purchase showing the purchaser's name, original purchase date, product purchased, and seller of record.
• Provide the product's serial number or other identifying information when applicable. For products with a serial number, the serial number must match the product and applicable purchase records.
• Submit clear photographs or video documenting the alleged defect. When the product has a serial number, the serial number must be visible in at least one photograph or video frame submitted with the claim.
• Provide a written description of the alleged defect, when it was discovered, and the circumstances under which it was discovered.
• Provide any additional photographs, videos, measurements, installation information, troubleshooting information, or other reasonable documentation requested by Inspired Overland to evaluate and verify the claim.
Customers must provide accurate information and reasonably cooperate with the warranty review process.
Failure to provide sufficient documentation, requested information, or reasonable cooperation may prevent Inspired Overland from verifying the claim and may result in delay or denial of the warranty claim.
Submission of a warranty claim does not constitute approval of the claim and does not guarantee repair, replacement parts, product replacement, reimbursement, or any other warranty remedy.
Inspired Overland may require additional documentation, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, dealer inspection, or other reasonable verification before approving a warranty claim or issuing a warranty remedy.
Products Purchased Through an Authorized Dealer
If a product was purchased through an Authorized Inspired Overland Dealer or Retailer, the customer must first contact the selling dealer to initiate the warranty claim.
The selling dealer is the customer's primary point of contact and will coordinate directly with Inspired Overland as necessary.
Warranty claims submitted directly to Inspired Overland for products purchased through an authorized dealer may be redirected to the original selling dealer for initial review and processing.
Inspired Overland may require warranty communications, documentation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair coordination, or replacement processing to be handled through the original selling dealer.
3. Replacement Procedure
The warranty procedure may vary depending on the product, alleged defect, customer location, availability of an authorized dealer, repairability of the product, and the warranty remedy being considered.
Inspired Overland may require dealer inspection, photographs, video, troubleshooting, testing, return of a component, Destruction Verification, or another reasonable verification procedure before warranty parts or replacement merchandise are issued.
Local to an Authorized Dealer (within 75 miles)
Customers located within 75 miles of an authorized Inspired Overland dealer may be required to bring the product to the authorized dealer for in-person inspection.
• If the covered defect can reasonably be repaired, Inspired Overland or the authorized dealer may perform or coordinate the repair.
• If repair is not appropriate, Inspired Overland may provide replacement parts, components, or a replacement product.
• Replacement merchandise may be shipped to the authorized dealer for customer pickup or installation.
• Customers may choose to use available dealer installation services or complete installation themselves.
• Customers are responsible for transportation, shipping, freight, labor, removal, and installation costs associated with warranty service.
• For large structural components, including the tent body, main frame, or shell, Inspired Overland may require Destruction Verification instead of physical return due to the size and impracticality of return shipping.
To locate an authorized dealer near you, contact support@inspiredoverland.com.
Not Local to an Authorized Dealer (more than 75 miles)
Customers located more than 75 miles from an authorized Inspired Overland dealer may be required to complete the Inspired Overland Destruction Verification process before a full product or major structural-component replacement is issued.
• Inspired Overland will provide Destruction Verification instructions identifying the required steps and documentation.
• Customers must follow all Destruction Verification instructions completely and accurately.
• Required photographs, video, serial numbers, product identifiers, and other documentation must clearly demonstrate completion of the required process.
• Inspired Overland may request additional documentation or clarification if the submitted materials are incomplete, unclear, inconsistent, or insufficient to verify completion.
• Replacement merchandise will not be released until Inspired Overland has reviewed and approved the required Destruction Verification submission.
• Customers are responsible for all applicable shipping and freight costs associated with the warranty replacement.
Destruction Verification may also be required for customers located within 75 miles of an authorized dealer when Inspired Overland determines that return of a large structural component is impractical or unnecessary.
Completion of Destruction Verification does not by itself approve a warranty claim. The warranty claim must first satisfy the eligibility and verification requirements of this Limited Warranty.
Customers must not destroy, dispose of, dismantle, permanently modify, or otherwise render a product unusable unless specifically instructed to do so by Inspired Overland as part of an authorized Destruction Verification process.
Inspired Overland is not responsible for merchandise destroyed, disposed of, dismantled, or rendered unusable before written Destruction Verification instructions or authorization have been provided.
Submitting altered, manipulated, falsified, or intentionally misleading Destruction Verification documentation may result in denial of the warranty claim and will be handled under the Fraud, Misrepresentation & Claim Abuse provisions of this Limited Warranty.
4. Proof of Purchase
A valid receipt, invoice, or order confirmation showing the purchaser's name, original purchase date, product purchased, and seller of record is required for warranty coverage.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser who purchased the qualifying product directly from Inspired Overland or from an Authorized Inspired Overland Dealer or Retailer.
Second-hand, resold, transferred, privately purchased, auctioned, or otherwise acquired used products are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
For products purchased through an Authorized Inspired Overland Dealer or Retailer, proof of purchase must clearly identify the selling dealer as the seller of record.
Inspired Overland may request additional transaction information when reasonably necessary to verify warranty eligibility, authenticate proof of purchase, or confirm that the claimant is the original purchaser.
Product registration, possession of the product, possession of a serial number, or prior communication with Inspired Overland does not replace the requirement for valid proof of purchase.
Proof of purchase alone does not establish that an alleged condition is a covered defect in materials or workmanship.
Altered, falsified, incomplete, or unverifiable proof-of-purchase documentation may result in denial of the warranty claim and may be reviewed under the Fraud, Misrepresentation & Claim Abuse provisions of this Limited Warranty.
5. What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage, deterioration, failure, or other conditions caused by or resulting from circumstances outside the scope of that coverage, including:
• UV Exposure: Cosmetic fading, discoloration, or changes in appearance resulting from sunlight or environmental exposure over time.
• Normal Wear & Tear: Scratches, dents, abrasions, cosmetic damage, fabric wear, discoloration, or other deterioration resulting from ordinary use.
• Improper Installation or Use: Damage caused by incorrect installation, improper mounting, misuse, abuse, accidents, collisions, improper maintenance, failure to follow product instructions, or use inconsistent with the product's intended purpose.
• Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs: Damage or defects caused by unauthorized modifications, alterations, improper repairs, third-party service, or incompatible components.
• Acts of Nature: Damage caused by storms, excessive wind, flooding, hail, falling objects, fire, extreme weather, environmental events, or other external causes.
• Racing or Competitive Use: Damage resulting from racing, competitive use, high-impact activities, or other use outside the product's intended design.
• Mechanical Wear From Improper Use: Damage to hardware, fasteners, hinges, straps, mounting points, attachment points, or other components resulting from excessive force, overloading, improper adjustment, improper mounting, or use beyond intended design limits.
• Air Mattress Expansion & Pressure Buildup: Damage resulting from air mattress expansion, self-inflation, or pressure buildup caused by elevation changes, temperature fluctuations, atmospheric pressure changes, storage conditions, transportation conditions, or failure to properly vent the mattress. Air mattresses may partially or fully re-inflate during transportation or storage even when compressed or placed in a deflate position. Customers are responsible for properly venting the mattress and leaving applicable valves open when required during storage or transportation to allow expanding air to escape.
• Continued Use After Discovery of an Issue: Additional damage resulting from continued use after the customer knew or reasonably should have known that a condition required repair, inspection, or further evaluation.
• Customer-Caused or Altered Damage: Damage caused, worsened, concealed, or altered by the customer after purchase.
• Cosmetic Conditions: Conditions that are cosmetic only and do not affect the product's intended function or constitute a defect in materials or workmanship.
• Claims submitted more than 30 calendar days after the alleged defect was discovered.
• Claims submitted after expiration of the original 2-year warranty period.
The existence of damage, wear, product failure, or a broken component does not by itself establish that the condition resulted from a defect in materials or workmanship covered by this Limited Warranty.
Inspired Overland may evaluate the product, installation, usage circumstances, photographs, video, measurements, inspection findings, product records, and other reasonably relevant information when determining whether a claimed condition is covered.
Use of a third-party repair service, replacement part, or other non-Inspired Overland service does not by itself void this Limited Warranty. However, damage or defects caused by improper repairs, modifications, incompatible parts, or third-party service are not covered.
6. Fraud and Misrepresentation
Inspired Overland may deny a warranty claim when there is reasonable evidence that the claim involves fraud, intentional misrepresentation, falsified information, merchandise substitution, manipulated evidence, or material abuse of the warranty process.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
• Submitting false or intentionally misleading information regarding the cause, timing, condition, installation, use, or circumstances of an alleged defect.
• Submitting altered, manipulated, fabricated, or intentionally misleading photographs, videos, measurements, receipts, documents, serial numbers, product identifiers, or Destruction Verification materials.
• Intentionally creating, altering, concealing, or worsening damage and representing that damage as a defect in materials or workmanship.
• Altering, removing, replacing, or misrepresenting serial numbers, identifying labels, or other product identifiers.
• Substituting a different product or component for the merchandise associated with the original purchase or warranty claim.
• Intentionally misrepresenting whether required Destruction Verification procedures were completed.
• Seeking duplicate replacement products, refunds, reimbursements, credits, or other compensation for the same product, component, or warranty claim.
• Using another customer's order information, proof of purchase, serial number, or warranty documentation without authorization.
A mistake, disagreement, incomplete claim, inconsistent information, or unsuccessful warranty claim does not by itself constitute fraud or intentional misrepresentation.
Inspired Overland may require additional documentation or verification when information submitted in connection with a warranty claim is incomplete, inconsistent, or reasonably requires further review.
If Inspired Overland reasonably determines that a warranty claim involves fraud, intentional misrepresentation, falsified evidence, merchandise substitution, or material abuse of the warranty process, Inspired Overland may deny the affected claim and decline voluntary accommodations associated with that transaction.
Inspired Overland may preserve relevant communications, photographs, videos, documents, serial numbers, inspection findings, shipping records, Destruction Verification materials, and other evidence relating to suspected fraud or intentional misrepresentation.
Inspired Overland reserves the right to pursue any remedies available in connection with fraudulent or intentionally deceptive warranty claims.
7. After Warranty Expiration
Customers may contact Inspired Overland for assistance after expiration of the original 2-year warranty period.
Post-warranty support is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.
When available, post-warranty assistance may include troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair guidance, product discounts, or other support options determined by Inspired Overland.
Any post-warranty parts, shipping, freight, labor, installation, repair, or other associated costs are the customer's responsibility unless Inspired Overland expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Post-warranty assistance is voluntary and does not extend, renew, restart, reinstate, or otherwise modify the expired Limited Warranty.
Providing post-warranty assistance in one instance does not create an obligation to provide the same assistance for another product, customer, or claim.
Any accommodation provided after expiration of the Limited Warranty applies only to the individual transaction and does not modify this warranty or establish a precedent.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for complying with all claim, inspection, verification, repair, replacement, and Destruction Verification procedures required under this Limited Warranty.
Customers are responsible for:
• Providing accurate and complete information in connection with the warranty claim.
• Providing requested photographs, videos, serial numbers, proof of purchase, measurements, installation information, troubleshooting information, and other documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
• Following all written instructions provided by Inspired Overland or an authorized dealer during the warranty process.
• Making the product reasonably available for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, verification, or other required warranty procedures.
• Properly protecting, packaging, and preparing any product or component that is authorized for return or transportation.
• All shipping and freight costs associated with warranty service and replacement, subject to the Mandatory Legal Rights section of this Limited Warranty.
• Transportation of merchandise to and from an authorized dealer or other approved service location.
• Removal and reinstallation costs associated with warranty service.
• Labor and installation costs, whether performed by the customer, an authorized dealer, or another service provider.
• Completing any required dealer inspection, troubleshooting, return procedure, or Destruction Verification process before a warranty remedy is issued.
Customers must not independently ship, return, destroy, dispose of, dismantle, modify, or otherwise render a product or component unusable unless specifically instructed or authorized by Inspired Overland in writing.
Unauthorized shipping, transportation, repairs, removal, installation, replacement, disposal, or other expenses incurred by the customer are not eligible for reimbursement unless expressly approved by Inspired Overland in writing.
If Inspired Overland arranges shipping, freight, transportation, inspection, repair, installation, or another service for convenience, the customer remains responsible for the applicable cost unless Inspired Overland expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Failure to comply with required warranty procedures, provide sufficient documentation, make the merchandise reasonably available for evaluation, or follow Inspired Overland's written instructions may delay or prevent verification of the claim and may result in denial of warranty coverage.
If Inspired Overland voluntarily pays, waives, arranges, or assists with shipping, freight, transportation, labor, installation, inspection, or another expense in a particular transaction, that accommodation applies only to that transaction and does not modify this Limited Warranty or establish a precedent.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY INSPIRED OVERLAND FOR PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
INSPIRED OVERLAND'S OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY REMEDIES DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY.
Inspired Overland may determine the appropriate warranty remedy based on the nature of the covered defect, repairability of the product, availability of replacement parts or products, inspection findings, and the circumstances of the claim.
Warranty coverage does not automatically entitle the customer to a monetary refund, reimbursement, upgraded product, different model, or additional merchandise.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSPIRED OVERLAND WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, TRAVEL EXPENSES, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY, OR OTHER INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS ARISING FROM A PRODUCT DEFECT OR WARRANTY CLAIM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSPIRED OVERLAND'S MONETARY LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE WARRANTED PRODUCT.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be limited by agreement.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
10. Governing Law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty and any disputes arising specifically out of or relating to this Limited Warranty will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action or proceeding arising specifically under this Limited Warranty shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in the State of California.
This section applies to disputes concerning this Limited Warranty and does not expand the scope of warranty coverage, remedies, or obligations provided elsewhere in this policy.
11. Warranty Contact & Claim Communications
Warranty claims and warranty-related questions may be submitted to Inspired Overland using the following contact information:
Inspired Overland, LLC
Email: support@inspiredoverland.com
Contact Page: https://inspiredoverland.com/pages/contact
When contacting Inspired Overland regarding a warranty claim, customers should provide their order number, purchaser name, product name or model, serial number when applicable, proof of purchase, and a description of the alleged warranty issue.
Submitting an email, contact form, message, or other communication does not by itself constitute approval of a warranty claim or authorization for repair, replacement, return, destruction, or disposal of the product.
Customers are responsible for maintaining current and accurate contact information and for responding to reasonable requests for additional information or documentation during the warranty process.
Warranty-related instructions, approvals, repair authorizations, replacement authorizations, Destruction Verification instructions, or other material claim decisions must be provided or confirmed by Inspired Overland in writing.
12. Mandatory Legal Rights & Severability
Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited by agreement.
If any provision of this Limited Warranty is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of this Limited Warranty will remain in full effect.
Any mandatory legal right or exception applicable to a particular transaction applies only to the extent required and does not otherwise modify, expand, or invalidate the remaining terms of this Limited Warranty.
The existence of a mandatory legal exception in one transaction does not create a voluntary exception, waiver, or precedent for any other customer, product, or warranty claim.
13. Customer Acknowledgment, Policy Updates & Effective Date
By placing an order with Inspired Overland, the customer acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review this Limited Warranty and agree to the terms applicable to their purchase.
This Limited Warranty forms part of the terms governing products purchased directly from Inspired Overland and the warranty coverage offered by Inspired Overland for qualifying products purchased through Authorized Inspired Overland Dealers or Retailers.
Inspired Overland may revise or update this Limited Warranty from time to time. Any revised warranty policy will become effective on the date stated in the updated policy and will apply to purchases made on or after that effective date unless otherwise expressly stated.
Unless a change is required by law or is expressly made more favorable to the customer, the Limited Warranty in effect at the time the product is originally purchased will govern that product.
Inspired Overland's failure to enforce any provision of this Limited Warranty in a particular transaction does not waive its right to enforce that provision in another transaction.
Any exception, accommodation, waiver, replacement, repair, transportation assistance, freight assistance, fee waiver, or other resolution provided in an individual transaction applies only to that transaction and does not amend this Limited Warranty or establish a precedent.
