Inspired Overland Warranty Policy

This page outlines our warranty coverage, claim requirements, and replacement procedures. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2-Year Limited Warranty Policy

Effective for all products purchased from Inspired Overland or an authorized dealer.
Inspired Overland, LLC reserves the right to update this policy at any time.


1. Warranty Coverage

Inspired Overland, LLC offers the original purchaser a 2-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all products we manufacture.

"Defects in materials and workmanship" are determined solely and finally by Inspired Overland, LLC at its sole discretion. Inspired Overland's determination is final and binding. All warranty claims are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the procedures outlined in this policy.

  • Inspired Overland will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace parts or products found to be defective.
  • Warranty replacements are strictly one-for-one and are intended solely to remedy defective parts or products, not to provide additional units.
  • Customers cannot retain defective products under any circumstances.
  • Warranty is limited to one (1) replacement per original product purchase.
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping, freight, removal, reinstallation, and labor costs.

2. Claim Filing Requirements

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Submit a claim within the 2-year warranty period AND within 30 days of discovering the defect.
  • Provide a valid proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) showing the customer's name and original purchase date.
  • Provide the product's serial number as it appears on the unit — claims without a valid, matching serial number will not be processed.
  • Submit clear photo or video documentation of the alleged defect, with the serial number visible in at least one image or frame, at the time of claim submission.
  • Provide a written description of the defect and how it was discovered.

Failure to submit a complete claim within the required timeframe may result in denial of the warranty claim.


3. Replacement Procedure

Local to an Authorized Dealer (within 75 miles)

Customers located within 75 miles of an authorized dealer must bring the product in for in-person inspection.

  • If the dealer can repair the defect, they will do so at their discretion.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, a replacement unit will be shipped to the dealer.
  • Customers may choose to have the dealer install the replacement or take it home for self-installation.
  • Customers are responsible for all transportation, labor, and installation costs.
  • For large structural components (tent body, main frame, shell), Destruction Verification may be required at Inspired Overland's discretion even for customers within 75 miles of a dealer, due to the size and impracticality of return shipping.

Not Local to a Dealer (more than 75 miles)

Customers located more than 75 miles from an authorized dealer must follow the Destruction Verification process before any replacement will be issued.

  • Inspired Overland will provide a Destruction Verification PDF outlining all required steps and documentation. Customers must follow the PDF instructions exactly and completely.
  • For large structural components (tent body, main frame, or shell), Destruction Verification may be required at Inspired Overland's discretion even for customers within 75 miles of a dealer, due to the size and impracticality of return shipping.
  • Replacement will only be shipped after Inspired Overland has reviewed and approved the destruction verification submission in full.
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping and freight costs for the replacement.


Submitting altered, edited, or fraudulent destruction verification documentation constitutes fraud and will result in permanent disqualification from all warranty coverage and may be subject to legal action.


4. Proof of Purchase

  • A valid receipt or order confirmation with the customer's name and purchase date is required.
  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser from Inspired Overland or an authorized dealer.
  • Second-hand or resold items are not covered under any circumstances.

5. What Is Not Covered

  • UV Exposure: Cosmetic fading or discoloration over time is considered normal.
  • Normal Wear & Tear: Scratches, dents, or discoloration from regular use.
  • Improper Installation or Use: Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or collisions.
  • Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs: Unapproved service, alterations, or third-party repairs.
  • Acts of Nature: Damage caused by storms, wind, flooding, or other weather events.
  • Racing or Competitive Use: Damage from high-impact or off-label activities.
  • Mechanical Wear from Improper Use: Damage to hardware, fasteners, straps, or attachment points resulting from excessive force, overloading, or use beyond intended design limits.
  • Claims filed more than 30 days after the defect was discovered.
  • Claims filed after the 2-year warranty period has expired.

6. Fraud and Misrepresentation

Any customer who submits false information, fraudulent documentation, or otherwise misrepresents the nature or circumstances of a warranty claim will be immediately and permanently disqualified from all warranty coverage on any Inspired Overland product. Inspired Overland reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies in the event of fraud or misrepresentation.


7. After Warranty Expiration

Customers may still contact Inspired Overland for assessment after the warranty period expires. Post-warranty support is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Inspired Overland, and is not guaranteed.


8. Customer Responsibilities

  • All shipping and freight costs for warranty replacements, including commercial or residential delivery, are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • All labor, removal, and reinstallation costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, whether performed by the customer or an authorized dealer.
  • Customers must comply with all required procedures (dealer inspection or destruction verification) before a replacement will be issued.
  • Inspired Overland reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that does not comply with the procedures outlined in this policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE EXPRESS WARRANTY PROVIDED BY INSPIRED OVERLAND. INSPIRED OVERLAND'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.


10. Governing Law

This warranty and any disputes arising out of or relating to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under this warranty shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in the State of California, and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
