By placing your order, you agree to these terms and policies.

Returns and Refunds

  • Inspired Overland, LLC accepts returns on Outdoor Gear/Camp Essentials within 30 days and rooftop tents within 15 days from the original purchase date.

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Orders canceled more than 1 hour after purchase will be charged a $250 cancellation fee.

  • If your order has already shipped, a 15% restocking fee will apply, and shipping costs are non-refundable.

Inspired Overland Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage
Inspired Overland, LLC offers the original purchaser a 2-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all products we manufacture.

What’s Covered:
Inspired Overland will, at our discretion, replace parts found to be defective due to manufacturing issues at no cost for the parts themselves. Customers are responsible for the shipping and installation of any replacement components.

Proof of Purchase:
A valid receipt or order confirmation with the customer’s name and purchase date is required to process any warranty claim.

Eligibility:
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Inspired Overland or an authorized dealer. It does not cover second-hand or resold items.


What’s not covered:

UV Exposure:
Our Carbonlite, Carbonlite-X, and Stargazer Duo/Solo models feature carbon fiber and acrylic materials, while our Standard, XL, and Trailpeak models use a high-grade PVC tonneau-style vinyl — all components designed for long-term outdoor use.

Over time, exposure to sunlight may naturally cause slight fading, yellowing, or surface discoloration. These cosmetic changes are normal characteristics of the materials and are not considered defects under warranty. With proper care and storage, the exterior materials are expected to maintain their appearance and performance for 5–7 years.

Normal Wear & Tear:
Cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, or discoloration from regular use.

Improper Installation or Use:
Damage caused by incorrect setup, misuse, accidents, or collisions.

Unauthorized Modifications or Repairs:
Any unapproved service, maintenance, or alterations.

Acts of Nature:
Damage caused by storms, wind, or other weather-related events.

Racing or Competitive Use:
Use in rallying, racing, or similar high-impact activities.

Second-Hand Purchases:
Warranty applies only to original purchasers from Inspired Overland or authorized dealers.

My warranty has ended — what should I do?

If your warranty period has expired, we still encourage you to reach out to us. Send us photos and details of the issue so our team can assess the damage.

In some cases, we may be able to offer support even outside of the warranty window. This is handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the situation. While we can’t guarantee coverage, we always do our best to find a fair solution.

Additional details:
Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered and are the purchaser’s responsibility.

If your warranty claim is approved, we’ll send a replacement at no cost for the part itself. You’ll just be responsible for the shipping, and we’ll help arrange the lowest rate possible.
